Taking Flight DISC is a personality profile specifically geared toward kids. Rather than using letters that are easily forgotten, we use birds to identify your student's personality styles. Training is included for individual teachers, coaches, or the entire school. Both the student and the school is provided with a DISC report. Additionally, parents can be offered a training session to find out how the Taking Flight DISC report can help them understand their child better.
YOU Life Skills and Leadership seeks to help youth understand who they are, and lead with this understanding. With a knowledge of their divine origin, they are prepared to lead themselves and make wise choices in a world that would lead them away from their divine purpose. Using a combination of scripture and science, teens are prepared to make choices based on their values and convictions.

Understanding Identity helped me understand Who I am, Why I make the decisions I do. How I portray myself in public and when I’m at home. The way I sometimes wear a mask with other people because I think people will judge who I actually am as a person. I think it is important for students to learn where their identities come from and why they are who they are and why sometimes that is important because it helps you identify people and realize that people have many different identities. J. Chia 10th Grade
I think it is important for students to understand where their identity comes from because that way they will know how to handle their problems or difficult situations that they might face. O. Heredia 10th Grade
Understanding identity helped me find what I like to do and how to better manage my time for school and outside of school. It also helped me see where I can better myself to not lead to bad influences and hurt myself and others. Learning from yourself is important because it allows you to see your weaknesses and your strengths. J. Mojica 10th Grade
As my students analyzed their identity styles with the DISC assessment and learned where their identity came from, they started to question the decisions they were making. They started to make better decision and some of the students who weren't interested in prior units became more engaged. They said they thought it related more to them and helped them learn how to make better decisions. Mrs. E 10th Grade Teacher
